Melbourne FCC's first major goal is to create a community centre where people can come together to socialise or pursue specific interests. It will be a cultural hub, showcasing the creativity of the members.
Music - As well as our own live music venue, there will be music rooms and recording studios. Melbourne FCC will continually develop resources to enable the musicians of the community access to everything they need to pursue their art.
Art - There will be art rooms with work spaces and supplies. Work will be displayed throughout the centre and exhibitions held to promote both art and artists.
Glass Art - A large glass blowing studio with ample work space for classes and many people to practice their art will enable the Australian glass scene to take it to the next level. High end glass art displays and exhibitions.
Garden - A range of edible vegetables will be grown in garden displays which will feature the latest hydroponic and lighting equipment available to gardeners. The food produced will be served in the cafe.
Meeting rooms - Spaces will be available for members to meet regularly, or occasionally, for social gatherings or special interest discussion groups.
Cafe - A range of nutritious and delicious foods at very reasonable prices for members.
